Healthwatch Leicester and Healthwatch Leicestershire is the consumer champion for health and social care for adults, children and young people. Our role is to enable people to feedback their views and experiences of the health and social care services they receive and for their input to influence how services are planned and delivered in the future.
We have a simple ambition, to make health and social care services better for the people who use them in Leicester and Leicestershire. We are here to understand the needs, experience and concerns of people who use services and speak out on their behalf.

Healthwatch Leicester and Healthwatch Leicestershire

ECS is now looking for an energetic, committed Deputy Manager, passionate about making a difference to the lives of local people by ensuring that health and social care services are geared to their needs.
Your organisation skills will be required to support the Manager in the day to day activities and functions of the local office. You will also be able to deploy your strong relationship management skills to develop excellent working relationships with key stakeholders at the Local Authorities, NHS organisations, the local voluntary and community sector and with volunteers, service users and patients. Gaining their trust and insight will be key to supporting you in working with the Chair and Advisory Board for Healthwatch Leicester & Leicestershire in developing and implementing an agreed strategic plan and work priorities for Healthwatch.
Healthwatch Leicester & Leicestershire is all abut local voices being able to influence the delivery and design of local services, whether it is improving them today or helping to shape them for tomorrow.
Essential qualities include management experience, effective cross-sector partnership working and the ability to involve local people. Knowledge of the health and social care landscape and/or local knowledge would be very desirable.
