day. Need to phone at exactly 08:00am to book an appointment. Very often the phone is constantly engaged therefore when you do get through all the appointments may be taken. When phoning on the day it is always the case that I am seen by a locum GP. Whilst it would be good to see the same person more than once I do feel that they have good IT records which they can review during the consultation. I have always found the GP's to be friendly and caring. My experience with the diabetic services within the practice have been very good since diagnosis 4 years ago. The practice nurses are very friendly and you are able to build up a good relationship. Referrals to other NHS services have been very good. Management of prescriptions could be improved, but sometimes this is due to miscommunication with the dispensing pharmacy.
